Having pursued her medical education and training in South India, as well as a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University, Dr. Shravanti Muthu joined the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi with a wide range of experiences in delivering quality healthcare to rural, underserved populations with a focus in global healthcare management. Prior to joining the program, Dr. Muthu held a Fellowship position at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Global Health Protection, where she was an integral part of strengthening training programs for the healthcare workforce across various countries. She is passionate about integrating her training in clinical medicine and public health to provide leadership towards innovative solutions for high quality healthcare delivery.
Dr. Muthu completed her medical education and training at Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research in Tamilnadu, India, as well as a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University.
