Dr. Dave Duddleston, MD, FACP, is an experienced internist with a wide background in clinical and administrative medicine. He graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in Chemistry and Zoology, then completed medical school at UMMC, the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. While there, he served in school government including student body president.

He and his wife, Eileen, then moved to Galveston, Texas for Internal Medicine residency at UTMB, led by master clinician William P. Dyess. Dr. Duddleston completed residency in 1985, and moved back to Jackson, MS, to start a solo practice in Internal Medicine. The practice expanded over the next few years, then in 1994, Dr. Duddleston was recruited to the faculty of the University of Mississippi Medical Center and also to be Medical Director of Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company in Jackson.

Dr. Duddleston served a rewarding 12 years at UMMC, attending on the Consult Service and inpatient services.  After UMMC, Dr. Duddleston has been a hospitalist primarily at Baptist hospitals in Jackson and Oxford, maintaining service throughout his career at Farm Bureau. He finds it very rewarding to listen to patients and help solve the sometimes complex problems that present at the bedside. His association with Farm Bureau led to a career spanning 33 years, when he retired in 2020.  His work at Farm Bureau involved assessing individuals' risks of long term mortality.

The Duddlestons relocated to Oxford in 2020 and look forward to participating in the development of fine internists and medicine subspecialists in this growing medical hub.  Dr. Duddleston enjoys outdoor sports, cooking/dining, travel and tinkering on a small farm near Sardis Lake.
