Resident Spotlight: Sajan Sarker, DO

Dr. Sajan Sarker was born in rural Bangladesh, where there was a dearth of medical care. He was raised in Carrollton, Texas, which is a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin. After college, he worked with University of Arkansas Medical Sciences to further undergraduate medical education in Arkansas. He graduated from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Dr. Sarker has a special interest in hospitalist medicine in underserved areas. He is interested in building supportive relationships with patients in acute hospitalization. Additionally, he enjoys running, biking, hiking and everything outdoors.
