Resident Spotlight: Simra Kiran, MD

Dr. Kiran grew up in Pakistan and attended medical school at the King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. After her internship, she came to the United States and completed several rotations at various hospitals.
Dr. Kiran worked as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Louisville in infectious diseases and then at the University of Cincinnati in Pulmonary and Critical Care. She is completing her Masters in Health Administration and interested in a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship after finishing her residency at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
She aspires to serve the underserved population and lead her patients throughout their lives. In her free time, Dr. Kiran enjoys spending time with friends and family, driving, painting, and cooking.
